Every school and every district has a unique story, which is why I believe literacy improvement should never rely on a one-size-fits-all solution.

After years of success as a secondary English teacher and literacy specialist, I founded Literacy Lab with Faith through Literacy Solutions LLC to partner with middle and high schools in transforming outcomes for struggling adolescent readers. My work focuses on helping schools build sustainable systems and instructional practices that lead to stronger literacy achievement while honoring the unique context, strengths, and goals of each district.

My consulting approach begins with listening. I work alongside district and school leaders to understand your current reality, identify opportunities for growth, and design a customized plan that aligns with your priorities. Whether we are strengthening Tier 1 instruction, building intervention systems, developing instructional leaders, or launching a Literacy Lab, every recommendation is grounded in the most current research in adolescent literacy, the Science of Reading, and cognitive science.
